Keeping you safe

You can be assured that anyone from Visionary Eyecare who comes into your home to take care of your eyes, has been rigorously approved and trained. All our staff have experience working with older people and are given extra training to make sure they’re able to give the best possible health care and advice in a home environment. Each person also has to be approved by the Disclosure and Barring Service and gets checked against the Independent Safeguarding Authority’s Barred Adults list, making sure that they’re safe to work with adults at risk.

Our credentials

We know it’s important that the people taking care of your eyes are not only qualified, but also registered with the key professional bodies that make sure their training is current and that they’re working to the highest possible standards. So all of our Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians are registered with the General Optical Council. As a company, we’re a full member of the Federation of Ophthalmic and Dispensing Opticians. Plus, as a company we’re a registered contractor with every NHS England Area Team in England. Each of our Optometrists are registered on the performers list with their local NHS England Area Team.
